The unique X-frame design—borrowed from our classic 45-Series—delivers exceptional structural strength while maintaining a clean, open-air aesthetic. Its resistance to torsional flex far exceeds that of most conventional frame designs. With massive cross-beams and columns, the structural integrity is, quite frankly, overbuilt—just the way we like it.
These racks are purpose-built for serious, high-end turntable systems. The top level accommodates either a generously sized 19x24-inch platform or an even larger 21x27-inch platform. Lower levels feature our standard 18x18-inch platforms, which can be upgraded to larger sizes for a small additional charge. All pricing includes platforms trimmed in solid cherry hardwood.

Quality Materials and Construction
These racks are handcrafted using only premium-grade materials and are meticulously computer-modeled and stress-analyzed to ensure superior performance. They incorporate a substantial number of custom-machined and fabricated components, which contributes to a higher manufacturing cost compared to our other product lines. However, the performance they deliver surpasses that of many competitive racks priced significantly higher. Proudly made in the USA!
Our famous Multi-Element Platforms
Our renowned three-element platforms combine the benefits of multiple advanced material technologies. The top layer, made of genuine granite, offers striking visual appeal, a diamond-hard surface, and substantial mass for stability. Beneath it, the inner conduction layer functions as a band-pass filter, channeling vibrational energy to the lower damping layer—effectively isolating equipment and enhancing sonic performance.

At Adona, we use aluminum for the vertical columns and steel for the horizontal cross beams—a deliberate material pairing that addresses a critical issue we call the "cage effect." This phenomenon occurs in frames made entirely of aluminum, where vibrational energy loops through the structure and feeds back into itself, particularly along the longitudinal axis. Simply applying damping material to the surface doesn’t resolve the problem.
To illustrate, drop an aluminum extension ladder on the ground and listen to the loud clang it produces. That ringing sound is a perfect example of the cage effect—a sonic characteristic inherent to all-aluminum frames.
Our solution is simple and effective: by combining materials with different mechanical properties—aluminum for columns and steel for beams—we break up these vibrational pathways. The result? Adona rack frames are among the quietest in the industry, delivering outstanding acoustic isolation and sonic neutrality.
These massive columns, measuring nearly 4.5 inches in diameter, weigh over two pounds per linear foot. Precision-extruded from aluminum and originally developed for use in industrial machinery frames, these columns bring exceptional strength and stability to our racks. Aluminum is an ideal choice for audio rack columns, as it efficiently transmits vibrational energy along its longitudinal axis—where it can be effectively drained into the floor, minimizing unwanted resonance.
The platform support brackets
These attractive shelf supports are precision-machined from 3/4-inch thick solid billet aluminum and weigh nearly half a pound each. They are designed to accept a wide range of industry-standard devices, giving you the flexibility to either direct-couple or float your platforms. All Zero Series racks come standard with direct-couple leveling devices for superior stability and performance.
The primary function of spiking is to focus the weight of the rack onto an infinitely small surface area, although some floor finishes make the use of such devices impractical. Therefore, we offer optional floor discs, as well as glides and casters. Includes: brass floor cones, shown with optional glides.
